We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual with a guest-centric mindset to join our team as Assistant Guest Experience Manager.
Here at Adare Manor, we strive to 'create and deliver Beyond Everything experiences' and the Assistant Guest Experience Manager drives the spirit of this across the entire Resort. They will support the Director of Guest Experience & Guest Experience Manager in overseeing the Guest Relations Call Centre (Switchboard), Butlers, Guest Experience Executives & Coordinator and Resort Activities to ensure each of our VIG (Very Important Guests) receives a truly exceptional experience whilst at Adare Manor.
As Assistant Guest Experience Manager, You Will
* Prior to arrival, you will assist guests with planning their itinerary, ensuring all preferences are accurately noted and shared with the relevant teams. You will also inspect incoming VIG arrival rooms and suites, ensuring everything is in pristine condition and up to Adare Manor standards.
* Build relationships with guests through active lobby presence, pre- and post-stay communications and supporting the wider Front of House operations.
* Answering communications relating to incoming VIG guests via phone & email.
* Review guest history (if available) from previous visits, highlighting preferences and needs, and ensure all requests are completed prior to their arrival.
* During the guest's stay, the Assistant Guest Experience Manager will give support to the Guest Experience Executives & Butlers in delivering a bespoke service to each of our guests. The Assistant Guest Experience Manager will ensure all Butler requests are promptly actioned.
* Planning & execution of special events on the Resort such as Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, 4th of July Celebrations etc.
* Train, mentor and develop the Guest Experience Executives & Butlers and assist them in delivering BEYOND EVERYTHING experiences to our guests.
* Mentoring and management of the Guest Relations Department, ensuring any questions and queries are promptly addressed.
* Upon departure, you will keep an up-to-date archive of documents and preferences to enhance the guest's future visits.
* Our Assistant Guest Experience Manager must have a genuine warmth and the ability to build lasting relationships with our guest's ensuring they have a seamless experience. They are entrusted with planning and coordinating all of the guests' stay by collaborating with all departments across the entire Resort whilst ensuring effective communication. They will have the ability to inspire their team & other colleagues across the Resort to enhance the service we deliver.
Experience in a 5-star/luxury property is essential. Full clean European Driver's Licence preferred.
You will report to the Director of Guest Experience and Guest Experience Manager, and the wider Room Division Management Team in their absence. This role will be primarily 5 days over 7 with a variation of shift work. The above responsibilities are not exhaustive, and any individual may be required to execute any additional responsibilities as directed by leadership.
