Role
Lead the end‑to‑end planning, coordination, and delivery of all controls integration activities across Apto projects.
Own and manage Scopes of Work for controls vendors throughout design, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
Interpret and validate design intent, Sequences of Operation (SOO), integration architecture, and control strategies.
Lead Apto’s review and approval of RIBA 2-5 controls documentation, including SOO, Points Lists, BOMs, wiring diagrams, and vendor submittals.
Coordinate across Mechanical, Electrical, IT, OFCI, GC, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless system interoperability and eliminate scope gaps.
Oversee onsite deployment, commissioning, and testing of BMS/EPMS and integrated controls systems, including field inspections and issue resolution.
Track integration progress, commissioning readiness, risks, and vendor deliverables, driving corrective actions where needed.
Act as Apto’s primary interface with controls vendors and project stakeholders, leading technical and progress meetings.
Ensure quality, safety, compliance, cybersecurity, and adherence to Apto’s controls philosophy across all installation and commissioning activities.
Basic Qualifications
8-10+ years of experience in controls engineering, automation, systems integration, or mission critical facilities.
Strong knowledge of BMS, EPMS, DCIM, and associated controls infrastructure.
Ability to read and interpret MEP design drawings, wiring schematics, and sequences of operation.
Experience managing multiple vendors and workstreams in fast paced construction environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in data‑centre or hyperscale technology environments.
Familiarity with project management and scheduling platforms (e.g.MS Project, Office 365, P6).
Strong understanding of API‑based integration, middleware, and data‑exchange frameworks.
Excellent communication, documentation, and cross‑functional coordination capabilities.
Experience managing a Team.
Location
Dublin. 40% travel across Europe.
