Job Summary
Perform site supervision for lift and escalator maintenance in a building and construction company, providing technical support, conducting inspections, troubleshooting pump systems, coaching junior staff, and ensuring safe, clean, and orderly work sites.
Responsibilities
Conduct site inspections to assess lift, escalator, and pump system conditions and identify maintenance needs
Troubleshoot pump system failures promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency
Assist in lift and escalator maintenance tasks to support smooth operation and safety compliance
Act as assessor for confined space work to ensure safety and regulatory compliance during operations
Coach and share technical knowledge with junior colleagues to enhance team skills and performance
Maintain site cleanliness and orderliness to support a safe and efficient working environment
Ensure all site activities comply with safety standards and maintain safe working conditions
Report site progress, issues, and safety concerns directly to the operations manager
Remain on standby with company mobile to respond quickly to emergency pump system failures
Work on weekends, public holidays, and overtime as required to support urgent troubleshooting and maintenance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Relevant experience in lift, escalator, and pump system maintenance and troubleshooting
Ability to communicate effectively with customers of diverse educational backgrounds
