Our Engineers and Consultants support some of the most innovative energy projects across Ireland; providing design, intellectual, and engineering services to developers, investors, and owner-operators.
We have over 175 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Dublin, Belfast, Manchester and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our Irish team by recruiting a civil/structural consulting engineer to be based from our office location in central Dublin.
We are looking for:
* a good degree in either Civil or Structural Engineering;
* have achieved, or be actively working towards Engineers Ireland membership;
* recent technical knowledge gained on heavy industrial civils projects;
* experience of conducting quality inspections of materials and methods such as pre-formed and cast concrete structures and steelwork;
* a good understanding of foundation piling, environmental issues, European building codes and geotechnical studies;
* the ability to produce and explain high quality technical reports and feasibility studies for clients;
* comfortable in interpreting engineering drawings, design specifications and functional descriptions;
* fully conversant with Microsoft Office;
* knowledge of applicable safety, health and welfare regulations and risk assessments, able to identify quality issues and design risks;
* Able to work (without any visa restrictions) in both Ireland and on occasion in the UK;
* a full driving licence and vehicle for travel to remote site meetings in Ireland.
