Tirlan ORP Program The Tirln Operational Readiness Program (ORP) is applied to pre-selected CapEx projects to ensure a standard and consistent approach. Operational readiness is defined as the process of preparing the end users of an asset under construction, and their supporting organisation, in a way that they: Are fully ready to assume ownership of the asset at the point of delivery or handover. Accept responsibility for, and are capable of, operating the asset in a safe, efficient, sustainable, and environmentally friendly way. Have laid the foundations of operational excellence to avoid disruptions during start up, ramp up and full operation. Role Profile A vacancy has arisen within Tirlan for the position of Services & Utilities Project ORP located on the Ballyragget site. Reporting to the Site Utilities & Environmental manager the Project ORP will be an integral part of the project team for a high-value Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) AD project and a Whey diversity project. Both projects will run consecutively on the site. Responsibilities Gather an intimate knowledge of the Services & Utilities requirements for the site and understand all implications of the proposed projects. Advocate on behalf of the Services & Utilities Department to ensure the delivery of a high quality, practical and efficient project solution. Daily engagement with the Project Team including project engineer(s), suppliers & contractors, Tirlns ORP Lead, and management. Represent the best interests of the end-users during project design and scoping - ensuring EHS, training and future maintenance plans are among the considerations of the project. Develop and agree Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with the Project Team. Maintain engagement with all other stakeholder departments during each phase of the project. Work closely with the Project Team to ensure energy efficiency and sustainability is to the forefront in all design and build discussions. Create a comprehensive commissioning protocol to ensure all necessary testing and training is facilitated. Collaborate with the project engineering team to determine commissioning timelines and schedule any necessary vendor supports. Coordinate all training requirements including plant manual reviews and SOP updates. Requirements Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 3+ years experience in utility management within a large scale manufacturing environment, preferably in the Dairy, Food, Beverage or Healthcare industries. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills Excellent communication verbal & written Work to best practice techniques such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma/Business Excellence and drive Continuous Improvement Projects Motivated and self-driven Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
