Our client, a trusted engineering partner based in Cork, is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across the full spectrum of HR activities while supporting a diverse and collaborative workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support employee development by coordinating training programmes and identifying learning needs with managers.
2. Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
3. Help administer reward, bonus, and incentive schemes, and support compensation benchmarking to ensure competitive pay practices.
4. Stay up to date with employment legislation and assist with maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures.
5. Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, helping to resolve issues and promote positive communication across the organisation.
6. Gather and analyse HR data to produce insights, reports, and dashboards on key people metrics.
7. Contribute to engagement and retention initiatives, support leadership development, and help identify high-potential employees for future growth.
8. Work closely with Talent Acquisition to support hiring and organisational growth.
9. Manage end-to-end onboarding, ensuring a smooth and organised transition for new starters.
10. Coordinate offboarding activities, including exit interviews and final documentation, to support a positive and compliant exit process.
Requirements:
11. 2-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role.
12. Experience in the construction, engineering or manufacturing industries is an advantage.
13. A solid understanding of HR processes and employment lifecycle activities.
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
15. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
16. A proactive mindset and desire to continuously improve processes.
