Overview:Our client is a global leader in precision injection molding, complex assembly, and contract manufacturing, serving the consumer packaging, healthcare, and specialty industrial sectors. They were founded in 1983 in the US and now operate 12 manufacturing facilities across the world.They are looking to add aToolmakerto their expanding team in Longford, Ireland. The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in medical device manufacturing/injection moulding. This is a full time permanent position.Responsibilities:Maintain and repair injection molds, ensuring compliance with specifications and procedures.Manufacture and maintain jigs, fixtures, and ancillary equipment.Troubleshoot mold issues in collaboration with Process Engineers.Support quality improvements and customer-related problem-solving.Research and implement new tooling processes and systems.Provide training and knowledge-sharing within the toolroom.Ensure documentation and processes meet ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 standards.Requirements:Recognised toolmaking qualification and time-served experience.Minimum 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.Proven background in injection mold making/maintenance.Skilled in milling, turning, grinding, sparking, fitting, and welding.Knowledge of mold types (multi-cavity, hot runner, valve gated).Strong understanding of injection molding processes.Experience with high-precision/medical applications an advantage.Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and supplier/customer interaction desirable.For a confidential discussion about this opportunity, please contact David Smith
