What you'll be working on
In your new role, you'll play a central role in a large‑scale transformation programme within a leading financial services organisation. Your day‑to‑day work will centre on deep‑dive process discovery, end‑to‑end journey mapping, and translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for the Data Product delivery team.
You will be responsible for:
* Mapping current‑state and future‑state processes using Blueprint and BPMN 2.0
* Identifying gaps, inefficiencies, risk points, and regulatory touchpoints across journeys
* Creating detailed process documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability
* Acting as the connective tissue between business teams and technology teams
* Supporting UAT, reviewing test coverage, and ensuring readiness for deployment
* Assessing the impact of proposed changes and evaluating process improvements
* Owning the definition, refinement, and maintenance of core business processes throughout the transformation
Who you'll be working for
You'll be joining a well‑established financial services company based in Ireland, undergoing a major modernisation of its products, systems, and operational capabilities. You will operate within this team, working closely with Product Owners, SME groups, data teams, and cross‑functional partners across the business.
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong process mapping skills, particularly using Blueprint and BPMN 2.0
* Proven experience translating business requirements into specifications for data, technology, and product teams
* The ability to run structured workshops with stakeholders and extract detailed process insights
* Comfort analysing data and identifying pain points, inefficiencies, and control gaps
* Outstanding documentation skills - consistent, structured, and clear
* Strong communication and facilitation skills, especially when aligning business and IT
* A solid understanding (or the ability to quickly develop one) of financial services operations, regulatory controls, and customer/dealer dynamics
* High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
