The Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide high‑quality, person‑centered support in a small residential care setting, empowering individuals to live meaningful, independent lives.
Key Responsibilities
Providing person‑centered support tailored to individual needs, promoting independence, self‑care, and community integration
Working collaboratively with individuals to set, review, and achieve personal goals
Supporting daily living activities while promoting dignity, autonomy, and informed choice
Encouraging skill development and confidence in everyday life
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to individual support plans
Engaging in reflective practice to continually improve care delivery
Participating in training, supervision, and team activities to enhance service quality

Essential Requirements
Minimum FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, Social Care, or equivalent
Strong English communication, IT, report writing, and planning skills
Full, clean driving licence (mandatory)
Subject to Garda Vetting
Ability to provide two references
Legal right to work in Ireland – no sponsorship provided
Strong commitment to safeguarding and best practice
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
Acceptable Qualifications
QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support
Pre‑Nursing Studies
Professional Qualification in Teaching (excluding TEFL)
Family Support Practitioner qualification (minimum Level 6 NFQ)
OR equivalent nationally recognised qualification in social care, childcare, family support, or education
Career Development & Progression
Progression to Senior Support Worker and Social Care Worker roles
Support towards Level 7 and Level 8 qualifications
