LOD is partnering with a global organisation to provide an experienced in-house legal professional for a senior role in Ireland. This position offers the opportunity to join one of the world's largest and most respected in-house legal teams, known for its collaborative and inclusive culture.
About the Role
As
Geographic Legal Counsel
, you will advise on compliance, data protection, and local legal matters, ensuring the organisation meets regulatory obligations while supporting business operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on compliance and risk management for Ireland.
* Monitor new laws/regulations and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
* Lead Ireland data protection reviews and advise on global privacy queries.
* Support Ireland-specific contract requirements and client requests.
* Provide guidance on corporate citizenship projects, donations, and grants.
* Review anti-corruption compliance and manage lobbying returns.
* Act as deputy legal contact for dawn raid processes.
What We're Looking For
* 8–10 years PQE, ideally in-house.
* Expertise in compliance, data protection, contracting, and employment law.
* Strong understanding of the Irish legal landscape.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
