Support Worker in a Specialised Setting
Care and support is required for vulnerable young people in need of short-term, stabilising intervention. Our goal is to provide a secure, therapeutic environment that prioritises safe care and promotes the rights of each individual.
This challenging yet rewarding role involves participating in the development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans. As a Support Worker, you will promote the physical, emotional, social, and educational welfare of each young person, while working within a challenging environment and understanding therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in the development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans
* Promote the rights of each young person within the centre
* Promote the physical, emotional, social, and educational welfare of each young person
Requirements:
* Minimum QQI Level 7 in Social care or a relevant field
* Minimum 6 months working in social care sector (placement experience considered)
* Ideal experience working with young people or residential experience
* Experience working within a challenging environment and an understanding of therapeutic interventions
