We are working with a well-established and growing client within the construction materials and accessories sector who are seeking a Senior Field Development Representative
to cover the Dublin and Leinster region.
This is a field-based role suited to someone driven by relationship-led sales, long-term account development, and identifying new commercial opportunities within a regulated, safety-focused industry.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth across the Dublin/Leinster region by developing new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing client relationships. The role is a mix of field-based sales, strategic account management, and collaboration with internal teams.
Working pattern:
* 3 days on the road across Dublin / Leinster
* 1 day on-site at the client's Leinster-based HQ
* 1 day remote
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across public and private sector clients
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, merchants, and key stakeholders
* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
* Engage with clients at specification stage to secure long-term project wins
* Deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations as required
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
* Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to support commercial growth
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
Requirements:
* Proven experience in B2B business development or field sales
* Experience selling into construction, building materials, infrastructure, or regulated industries preferred
* Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
* Commercially minded with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
* Comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
