Pharmacy Technician Required, Killarney, Co. Kerry.
At present we are looking for capable people to work as part of our dynamic, friendly and experienced team.
Since 1953, we are located on 34 Main Street in Ireland's leading tourist town Killarney, County Kerry. Working as a part of our experienced team the Pharmacy Technician/Dispenser will be responsible for assisting in ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
The main duties of this role will include the following -
Prepare and dispense prescriptions in a professional manner.
Engaging actively with customers and provide a high standard in customer service in person, over the phone and via email.
Prescription control and paperwork.
Advise and assist customers with over-the-counter products.
Dispensary stock management including expiry date checking and ethical ordering.
Proactive in personal development and other projects and duties where they arise.
The successful candidate will have -
A Pharmacy Technician qualification and/or strong dispensary experience.
Excellent communication skills and capable of working on own initiative.
Be Innovative - seeks to deliver opportunities to assist the business to improve patient care.
Show the ability of building rapport with customers and offering them compelling reasons to return.
Show the ability to build a strong working relationship with all team members in the pharmacy.
Show the ability to prioritise and work in a confidential environment with a high attention to detail.
Positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
