Job Title: Clinical Leadership Role in Nursing Home Management
The post of Assistant Director of Nursing is a senior clinical position that reports to the Director of Nursing. This role requires providing clinical leadership, managing day-to-day clinical practices, and ensuring high standards of nursing and social care. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing and Healthcare Manager to provide clear communication, direction, and deputize as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* To ensure delivery of highest standards of nursing care by conducting ward rounds, reviewing documentation, and ensuring appropriate management plans are in place.
* To participate in handover sessions to troubleshoot ongoing clinical issues and escalate to Director of Nursing as necessary.
This role also includes responsibility for auditing EpicCare, addressing any issues related to documentation with CNMs, staff nurses, and carers. Additionally a strong focus on team dynamics, performance appraisals education development objectives must be maintained at all times across all departments within said home. An appreciation of finance matters would also be advantageous when maintaining best practice healthcare services provided daily. Furthermore relevant experience in previous leadership roles showcasing exceptional business acumen, finance knowledge alongside proficiency levels working effectively together creating collaborations positively interacting seamlessly —utilizing innovative ideas whilst adjusting previously made arrangements - contributing factors shall enhance job satisfaction significantly if implemented appropriately.Monitoring usage temporary agency staff ensures minimum requirements preserved.; Regular review residents' documentation; participating regular communication staff helping develop team ethos centre Assist relatives visitors promptly escalating points contact escalated resolution DON level.
