IT Project Manager - Security Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead high-priority security projects, software upgrades and infrastructure upgrades using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing lean business cases to support project approval and funding decisions, outlining project objectives, benefits, resources and estimated costs.
* Manage cross-functional teams, evaluate project feasibility and prepare business cases for senior stakeholders.
* Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, facilitating regular communication on project progress, risks and deliverables.
* Identify and manage risks specific to security, software and infrastructure upgrades, implementing mitigation strategies and resolving issues quickly and effectively.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
* PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification(s) preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on security, software upgrades and infrastructure upgrades.
* Strong experience in business case development and project portfolio management.
