The Client and overview of the opportunity: My Client are a Midlands-based, €150m+ turnover Main Contractor. They have a good name in the market and over 80 years of continuous trading. This business are hiring for the future and are keen to bring people in who would like to progress over time. This business take on Public Works, Civil Infrastructure, Apartments & Commercial projects in Munster & Leinster. As this is an established, close-knit team, we're also looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in what they do and seeing others do well. We are searching for an experienced Senior Engineer with extensive experience managing Concrete Frame construction projects. They have 4 years of work in the Midlands at the moment and plenty of work in Dublin too. Main responsibilities will include: Be key member of Site Leadership team Overseeing all Engineering aspects of a construction project - you may be required to Set-Out sometimes but there will be a Setting-Out Engineer on site with you. Technical submittals Managing relationships with Utilities companies Ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Managing and coordinating other Engineers, Design Teams and resolving technical challenges. Ensuring compliance with construction plans and safety regulations. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. 3+ years experience as an Engineer/Senior Engineer with a Main Contractor or Residential Developer. Experience using setting out equipment - Eg. total station, GPS and laser levels. Knowledge of temporary works coordination. Strong attention to detail and able to work on own initiative.
