Financial Accountant

A successful and expanding business in the motor industry based in Waterford City is seeking a commercially driven and ambitious Financial Accountant to join their team.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the General Manager and leadership team, managing the financial operations of the dealership, preparing key reports, and contributing to the commercial performance of the business.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of the company, with strong potential for progression into a Financial Controller position.
The Role
* Take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations within the dealership.
* Produce regular financial reports and analysis to assist decision-making and drive commercial results.
* Work closely with management to ensure efficient financial processes and procedures.
* Provide financial insights to support the strategic and operational goals of the business.
* Assist with various projects and ad hoc tasks as required in a dynamic environment.
The Ideal Candidate
* Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant – ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
* Solid experience in financial management within a commercial setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across the business.
* Competent user of accounting software packages.
* Commercially minded, proactive, and eager to contribute to ongoing business success.
