Job Objectives
We are looking for a talented and strategic Learning and Development Lead to develop and implement impactful training programs, design innovative learning solutions, and ensure compliance with standards. You will lead initiatives, monitor effectiveness, and drive improvements through data analysis and feedback.
Key responsibilities include coordinating employee training, managing budgets, and utilizing learning management systems to support organizational success.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a Learning and Development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
* Lead a team of L&D professionals and collaborate with senior leadership.
* Oversee the performance of the Learning and Development Unit, ensuring continuous improvement.
* Build relationships with hiring managers to understand and meet training needs.
* Create and implement comprehensive training programs for all employee levels.
* Ensure training initiatives foster growth, skills enhancement, and career progression.
* Oversee leadership development programs to improve managerial skills and employee engagement.
* Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements.
* Maintain positive employee relations and ensure legal and policy compliance.
* Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts when necessary.
* Work with senior leadership and HR to develop and monitor performance goals.
* Implement recognition and reward systems.
* Ensure all programs comply with labour laws, diversity, and inclusion standards.
* Manage the department budget effectively.
* Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with company values.
* Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
* Level 7/8 Degree in a related discipline
* Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation
* Leadership and management experience in a large organization (public or private)
* Experience in Budget Management
* High proficiency in process improvement
* At least 3 years in a similar role
* Experience in developing high-standard training programs
