Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations of accounts payable and receivable functions, posting and allocating payments, reconciling supplier and customer accounts, and overseeing credit control processes.
You will also assist with month-end reporting, journal entries, and audit preparation.
Regular interaction with both internal departments and external stakeholders is required, with a high level of professionalism and accuracy expected in all financial transactions.
To be successful, you will need a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of both payables and receivables.
Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent attention to detail are also essential requirements.
Organisation, self-motivation, and ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial information are key attributes.
