Job Title: Part-Time Prep Chef

About the Role:
We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Prep Chef to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on, early-start role suited to someone who thrives working independently and takes pride in precision, cleanliness, and consistency.
Everything in our kitchen is made from scratch, so professional experience in a similar role is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Morning food preparation to set up the kitchen for daily service
* Prepping all ingredients from scratch, following in-house recipes and standards
* Setting up kitchen stations, filling sauce bottles, stocking fridges, and ensuring all mise en place is ready
* Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy as you go – this is a solo role in the mornings
* Checking in deliveries (eventually) and managing stock rotation
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation throughout your shift
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar prep or kitchen support role
* Strong knife skills and confidence working independently
* Valid working visa and up-to-date HACCP certification (must-have)
* Comfortable working solo in the mornings, with the main team joining from around 12/2pm
* Availability to work most Saturdays and occasionally both Saturday & Sunday
* Reliable, punctual, and proactive with a strong attention to detail
Schedule & Flexibility:
* 3 days per week (schedule to be discussed based on availability)
* Morning start times (initially flexible while training with the team)
* Shifts rarely require working both weekend days but most Saturdays are expected
