Position: Equity Analyst – Family Office, Dublin
A Dublin-based Family Office is expanding its team and seeking an Equity Analyst to help manage its portfolio of direct equity investments in listed securities.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to step into a principal or buy-side investment role, joining a small, collaborative, and fast-growing team with a flat organizational structure.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Conduct detailed research and analysis of potential direct equity investments
2. Assess the risk/reward profile of investment opportunities
3. Collect and process key financial and market data
4. Develop valuations based on different scenarios (bear, base, and bull cases)
5. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., CEOs, CFOs, analysts, brokers)
6. Monitor and review ongoing information related to investments
7. Utilize Bloomberg terminals and other market research tools
8. Offer informed opinions on existing and potential investments
9. Assist with legal due diligence for specific equity investments
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. Strong passion for financial markets and equity investments
2. Background in one or more of the following areas:
1. Equity Research
2. Corporate Finance
3. Equity Sales & Trading
4. Private Wealth Management
5. Family Office Investing
3. ACA/CFA/CIMA qualifications are advantageous but not required
4. Strong technical skills in financial analysis and valuation
5. Self-driven, motivated, and capable of working independently with a strong work ethic
