Job Purpose
Support the Production Supervisor and the business in achieving daily targets, yields, and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
1. Meeting daily production targets on output, waste, yield, efficiency, and start-up time by working as part of a team to deliver. Taking responsibility as part of the production team to achieve daily targets, yields, waste, and efficiencies as per weekly plan.
2. Accurately recording all production and management data on relevant sheets at set time intervals (such as downtime, waste, process sheets, non-conformances, on-hold logs).
3. Controlling and being responsible for all items within the area, such as production tools, probes, machine parts, in line with metal procedures and other foreign matter procedures. Replacing items when required and reporting misplaced items.
4. Ensuring adherence to CCP points and maintaining control at all times.
5. Energy conservation and management.
6. Waste segregation and management.
7. Maintaining the work area and machines in a tidy, safe, and hygienic manner.
8. Operating all equipment in accordance with provided training and approved SOPs.
9. Following all hygiene and safety procedures.
10. Offering suggestions and initiating new ideas for process improvement.
11. Working within the quality standards set out by the business.
12. Ensuring all products are produced and packed according to company and customer specifications, adhering to the 'get it right first time' motto.
13. Liaising with the Production Supervisor regarding any maintenance issues.
14. Communicating with staff to ensure a continuous supply of materials, preventing process stoppages.
15. Maintaining flexibility to meet all order requirements, especially during line breakdowns.
