Michael's House are recruiting a Direct Support Worker for ASD specific day services Full Time, permanent Contracts available Located in North Dublin.

Vacancies now exist for Social Care Worker full-time Permanent contracts in Day Services to support individualised services in North Dublin.
Located in Baldoyle area

These positions will provide exciting opportunities for the successful candidate to develop their career by providing personal support services for adults with an intellectual disability.

The core values of this service will be person centeredness, community inclusion and active participation with a strong emphasis on quality.
Your role will involve supporting and promoting each individual's independence as well as enhancing their personal capacities.

The successful candidates will assist in supporting individuals to develop and maintain their connections to other people and strengthen links to the local community.

Essential Criteria for Applicants Previous experience of supporting individuals with intellectual disability and autism.
Have experience of working as part of a team.
Experience implementing positive behaviour support plans.
Have experience of a key working role focusing on promoting independence and community integration.
Excellent communication skills.
Eligible to work in Ireland Experience working directly with people presenting with ASD preferred.
The successful Direct Support Worker candidate must have the following FULL AWARD in one or more of the Qualifications required: Intellectual Disability Practice (5M****) Community Health Services (5M****) Health Service Skills (5M****) Healthcare Support (5M****) Community Care (5M****) Nursing Studies (5M****) What We Offer: · HSE Pay Scale (incremental*)

Salary Scale: Successful candidates will be paid in line with the August **** HSE revised consolidated Care Assistant pay scale (point 1; €34,036– point 14; €47,454 per annum based on working a 39-hour week).
Should you have no prior public sector experience you will be placed on point 1 of the pay-scale above.
