Our client, a high-profile organisation in the Limerick & wider mid-west region, is expanding their team and has engaged Cpl on an exclusive basis to help recruit an experienced Operations Assistant.
Responsibilities include:
1. Leading Front of House and Retail management for concerts and events.
2. Performing general administrative duties, including maintenance of timesheets, H&S, and retail records.
3. Ensuring the safety of all patrons, staff, visitors through proper health & safety regulations and emergency procedures.
4. Collaborating with relevant departments for smooth venue and event operations, complying with licensing and safety policies.
5. Managing projects related to procurement, facilities, and event management.
6. Addressing customer comments and complaints to enhance customer care.
7. Overseeing day-to-day bar and retail operations within budget.
8. Adhering to legal requirements regarding weights, measures, licensing, health & safety, and fire procedures.
9. Leading recruitment, training, and appraisal of team members to meet objectives.
10. Monitoring staff performance, discipline, and dress code adherence.
11. Developing staff support through rostering.
12. Managing financial performance of bar and retail units.
13. Meeting sales, revenue, and profit targets.
14. Controlling stock and cash handling procedures.
Skills & Experience required:
1. Minimum of 3 years’ beverage management experience.
2. Understanding of contract management, procurement, project delivery, and negotiations.
3. Experience in team management and supervision.
4. Knowledge of arts and venue management.
5. Proven support for high-performing teams.
6. Experience with EPOS systems.
7. Ability to analyze data and produce financial reports.
8. Strong work ethic and people management skills.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
10. Leadership qualities, initiative, and teamwork ability.
11. Flexibility for varied event schedules.
12. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
13. Confidence and positivity in challenging situations.
14. Proven experience in a similar role is required.
The Offer:
This is a permanent onsite role with a salary range of €27,000 - €32,000 per annum, plus benefits, depending on experience.
Working hours will vary according to event schedules.
