EPM Scientific is seeking an Environmental Compliance consultant to join on a 12-month contract supporting environmental compliance for an ongoing project requiring expertise in this area.
Responsibilities:
* Act as an SME for PEC by supporting the business with interpreting and applying PEC regulations to the product(s) in scope of the project.
* Partner with R&D teams to complete initial checklists to identify PEC DI's, including approval of initial and final checklists in onePLM.
* Support the team in completing environmental checklists, from identifying PEC DI's to verifying and closing DI's.
* Manage WEEE/Battery data reporting.
* Manage e-disclosure document updates and SCIP database reporting.
* Support PEC QMS continuous improvements and develop job aids.
* Serve as a go-to resource for customers seeking guidance on specific PEC regulations or areas (e.g., WEEE Directive, RS assessment process).
Example projects requiring support include:
* PFAS
* POPs
* Battery regulation
* Packaging regulation
* RSL sub-group
* INST PEC SP site management
