This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established subsidiary of a leading European multinational, offering broad exposure to IFRS group reporting and high-standard internal controls.
About the Role: As a General Ledger Accountant, youll be a key player in a shared services model supporting multiple legal entities and business units.
Youll be hands-on in managing core financial processes and play a vital role in ensuring robust financial controls and compliance across the board.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain accounting for fixed assets, stock, and investments Prepare and reconcile monthly accruals and prepayments Create and maintain CAPEX approval files and depreciation schedules Conduct quarterly depreciation reviews and monthly reconciliations Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support statutory account preparation Support system improvement projects and contribute to automation initiatives Ensure accurate accounting of new fit-outs under IFRS and Local GAAP Drive process improvement in collaboration with the finance team Take on ad hoc duties and project-based responsibilities as needed What Were Looking For: ACA / ACCA / CIMA part-qualified or qualified accountant with at least 6 exams completed Minimum of 2 years Irish experience in a similar accounting role Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail Experience with Sage Line 200 and SAP (desirable but not essential) Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Shared service experience is a plus Why Apply?
