Job description: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin a career in Human Resources.You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, assisting with recruitment, employee records, onboarding, and general administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update employee records and data.
Monitor employee absences and leave requests.
Review and process timesheets.
Prepare payroll files for processing.
Assist in updating and distributing the company announcements.
Support the recruitment and selection process, including posting job vacancies, sourcing candidates, screening and tracking applications, scheduling and conducting interviews, conducting pre-employment checks (e.g., references, medicals), and preparing employment offers and contracts.
Facilitate pre-boarding and onboarding for new hires.
Provide general administrative support for the HR department.
Assist with various HR-related projects and tasks as needed.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience: A degree in Human Resource Management or a business-related field is preferred or currently studying towards one graduates are welcome.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
Familiarity with other HR systems is an advantage.
Knowledge of Irish employment law is a plus.
