Senior Engineering Opportunity
This is a senior engineering position that plays a leading role on a major construction project. As the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for all engineering functions and act as the primary point of contact for technical leadership, quality assurance, and site coordination.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute an engineering strategy and provide oversight for setting out, QA, record keeping, and engineering deliverables.
* Coordinate and manage temporary works and lifting operations to ensure timely and efficient completion.
* Mentor and guide site engineers and graduates to foster growth and development within the team.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
* Develop and review Inspection & Test Plans, method statements, and risk assessments to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
* Resolve technical queries and RFIs in a timely manner to minimize project delays.
* Promote timely close out of non-conformances and maintain robust documentation to support project delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
* Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng. or equivalent)
* Temporary Works Coordinator training and scaffold awareness
* At least 2 years of experience in construction site engineering, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
