Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager who embodies honesty, consistency, and passion, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
Role Responsibilities
1. Foster a positive team environment among staff.
2. Provide regular feedback, training, and pre-shift briefings to team members.
3. Maintain high standards of conduct and fairness among staff.
4. Collaborate with food and beverage staff to ensure proper food presentation and handling.
5. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, delays, or guest needs.
6. Inform the kitchen of allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
7. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and utensils throughout shifts.
8. Review order dockets for accuracy and timeliness.
9. Present accurate bills and process payments.
10. Coach and develop junior staff members.
11. Perform other duties related to food and beverage service as assigned.
12. Ensure the restaurant remains clean and organized at all times.
13. Handle guest complaints promptly and effectively.
14. Coordinate with DOR and OM for maintenance and repairs.
15. Manage cash and credit card balancing, deposits, invoices, and sales recording as per company procedures.
16. Handle irate customers with a calm and friendly attitude.
17. Adapt flexibly to operational changes and challenges.
18. Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
19. Delegate tasks and follow up appropriately.
20. Take ownership of issues and keep the DOR manager and Executive Chef informed.
21. Seek and respond to guest feedback in accordance with company policies.
22. Maintain accountability and avoid blaming others.
23. Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) software.
24. Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams.
Key Attributes
1. Availability to work all shifts, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
2. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
3. Fluency in English.
4. Minimum of 1 year of managerial experience in hospitality.
5. Passion and knowledge of Food & Beverage.
6. Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
7. Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
8. Professional appearance, punctuality, and cleanliness.
