About the Role
We are expanding our technical team and are looking for a motivated and dependable Service Technician with experience in woodworking machinery.
This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of industrial woodworking equipment while delivering high-quality technical support to our customers both on-site and remotely.

Key Responsibilities
Installation and commissioning of woodworking machinery at customer premises
Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software faults
Providing remote troubleshooting and technical assistance
Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate documentation
Delivering basic operator training and safety guidance to customers
Working closely with internal sales and parts teams to support customer requirements
Maintaining company vehicle, tools, and equipment
Ensuring compliance with all safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
What We're Looking For
Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline
Previous experience servicing industrial or woodworking machinery
Strong fault-finding ability across mechanical and electrical systems
Understanding of CNC systems and automated equipment
Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
Strong communication skills and a professional customer-focused approach
Willingness to travel nationwide (occasional overseas travel may be required)
Full, clean driving licence
Advantageous (Not Essential)
Experience with leading woodworking machinery brands
Knowledge of PLC systems and CNC controls
Relevant safety certifications (e.g. Safe Pass, Manual Handling)
