Danone Nutricia Early Life Nutrition is a division of the Danone Group and the Macroom Supply Point is a strategic spray drying factory within the division as it is a major supplier of infant formula to other plants within the network.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Maintenance Team Leader will support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility or site, ensuring it runs efficiently and safely.
Main Responsibilities: IWS (Integrated Work Systems) Maintenance lead.
This role requires coaching teams, facilitating process improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
In the absence of the Maintenance Manager the role requires taking on full maintenance manager responsibilities and ensuring the continuity of maintenance operations.
Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance team with the Maintenance Manager, including determining needed repairs and improvements, establishing project priorities and assigning work tasks, scheduling work to most effectively meet the needs of production with minimal disruption.
Overseeing the execution of all maintenance tasks with the Maintenance Manager, both planned and reactive.
Attending regular team meetings to align with operational and company objectives.
Key Requirements: Relevant City & Guilds qualification as a minimum (Electrical preferable) 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience of a leadership position of a maintenance or engineering team.
Excellent people management and coaching skills.
Ability to manage a team and prioritize maintenance schedules effectively A comprehensive technical background and competence.
