About You
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 3 years PQE and 2 years in a management role within a practice environment
* Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles
* Excellent project management and organisational skills, able to handle multiple engagements simultaneously
* Effective team leader with strong interpersonal and communication abilities
* Commercially minded, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality client service
About Your New Role
Always
* Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients from planning through to completion
* Review statutory accounts and audit files to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality
* Maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact
* Ensure all audits are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with professional standards
Often
* Mentor and support junior audit staff, fostering technical development and efficient working practices
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to audit methodology enhancements
* Provide guidance on complex audit and accounting issues to clients and colleagues
* Support Partners in planning and delivering audit engagements
Occasionally
* Assist with ad hoc accounting assignments and client projects outside core audit work
* Visit client sites to understand operations and build relationships
* Collaborate with other practice teams, such as tax or advisory, when required

* Work in a rigid or unapproachable environment
