As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in assessing, treating, and supporting patients across a wide variety of acute clinical areas, including: Acute Medical & Surgical Wards Care of the Elderly Orthopaedics & Trauma Stroke & Neurology Acute Rehabilitation Services This position offers exposure to diverse caseloads, strong interdisciplinary collaboration, and excellent opportunities for professional development. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality patient care within an acute hospital setting. Carry out expert assessment, treatment planning, and intervention across a range of acute specialties. Lead on discharge planning, ensuring safe and effective transitions of care. Supervise and mentor junior Occupational Therapists and students. Contribute to service development initiatives and quality improvement projects. Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals and progress. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with hospital standards. Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Requirements: CORU Registration as an Occupational Therapist (Essential). Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience, including at least 1 year in an acute hospital setting. Strong clinical skills in medical, surgical, orthopaedics, or rehabilitation. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
