Equipment Maintenance Specialist
The ideal candidate will be part of an engineering team with responsibilities for proactive and reactive maintenance, as well as documentation of the maintenance performed.
* Collaborate with site engineers, planners, and maintenance leads to execute a comprehensive site maintenance program, ensuring compliant, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant and equipment.
* Develop and lead a root cause failure analysis program to reduce general equipment breakdowns and support maintenance personnel in conducting real-time root cause analysis.
* Work with the reliability engineer and planner to establish and utilize reliability and work planning metrics/KPIs to monitor improvement and resource optimization, such as PM/CM ratio and schedule adherence.
* Conduct daily start-up checks on machinery throughout the plant.
* Ensure that all breakdowns are addressed swiftly and safely at all times.
* Guarantee that all servicing and maintenance activities are performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with hygienic standards.
* Straighten repairs, servicing, and regular maintenance of machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preventative maintenance: Implement strategies to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
* Breakdown maintenance: Conduct prompt and safe repairs to minimize business disruption.
* Maintenance documentation: Accurately record and report maintenance activities, including repairs and servicing.
* Reliability improvement: Collaborate with the reliability engineer to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize equipment performance.
