Overview
The purpose of the role: The CHI ICT Programme has an exciting opportunity for a hands on, experienced candidate to manage and transition relevant existing applications into the new children’s hospital, provide leadership and expert advice on workflows clinical systems, evaluate functionality for clinical and business use and facilitate implementation.
The post will manage a team of application and integration analysts as well as guiding resources from the vendor side.
Responsibilities
Manage and transition relevant existing applications into the new children’s hospital.
Provide leadership and expert advice on workflows clinical systems.
Evaluate functionality for clinical and business use and facilitate implementation.
Facilitate the development of specifications for changes, new developments, reports and build.
Lead your teams in facilitating clinicians to make design and workflow decisions and deliver solutions that meet the needs of the end users, the required service levels and enables efficient operation and support.
Develop and drive clinical applications team delivery to support BAU and transition to the new hospital in line with agreed plans.

Essential Criteria
A third level degree/post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics or a healthcare discipline plus a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in a relevant and similar role.
Certification in ITIL processes or be in the process of obtaining same.
