Title: Construction Manager Location: Belgium Duration: Permanent or Contract Salary: DOE A leading Irish engineering company is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee mechanical construction projects in Belgium.
This is a hands-on role ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do: Lead onsite coordination between mechanical and other disciplines.
Monitor and deliver the project construction schedule.
Attend client coordination meetings and report progress to the Project Manager.
Supervise project subcontractors, labour, and plant requirements.
Work closely with site engineers and safety officers to achieve project goals.
Monitor labour loading to optimize costs and efficiency.
Ensure all project variations are properly recorded and communicated.
Who We're Looking For: Minimum 10 years' experience on mechanical projects, ideally in Pharmaceutical or Oil & Gas industries.
Time-served fitter or mechanical engineering qualification preferred.
Strong understanding of piping isometrics and general arrangement drawings.
Excellent organisational skills, time management, and ability to prioritise.
Proactive, systematic problem solver with a commitment to high-quality work.
Strong team player, capable of interacting with clients and colleagues at all levels.
