FS Audit Insurance Director | Top 5 Firm | Cork

They are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join their Financial Services Audit team in Cork. As a key member of the team, you will manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, providing audit and related services.

Main Responsibilities —
* Manage a large and varied portfolio of clients, ensuring the quality of audit work is of the highest standard
* Develop and maintain client relationships, including the promotion of new business opportunities
* Supervise and train junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed
* Take responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of the audit team
* Prepare and present business tenders to develop and grow the client portfolio
* Negotiate client fees and manage working capital
About you —
* ACA/ACCA qualified
* Minimum 7+ years’ experience
* Insurance audit experience is highly desirable
* Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Irish GAAP and auditing standards (IFRS experience is an advantage but not essential)
* Experience in electronic auditing and the ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and analytical assessment
* Commercial awareness and the ability to make professional judgments based on findings
* Portfolio management experience
* Experience working as part of a team supporting others
* Experience gained in a Big 4 accounting firm would be advantageous
