Sales Assistant (Full Time / Temporary)
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Assistant to join our team at Gordons Chemists. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of stock, merchandising products, and providing exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent numeracy and accuracy skills, good attendance and punctuality, and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work in various locations is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining stock levels and merchandising products
* Providing knowledge and advice on product ranges, promotions, and special offers
* Assisting on the medicines counter (OTC Counter) / dispensary when required
* Delivery and collection of prescriptions when required
* Maintaining professional standards of dress and grooming
Essential Requirements:
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Good numeracy and accuracy skills
* Good attendance and punctuality
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Flexibility to work in various locations
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Desirable Requirements:
* 6 Months experience in a similar retail environment demonstrating selling skills
* 6 Months experience demonstrating exceptional customer facing skills
* Previous pharmacy experience
* Previous health and beauty retail experience
