Assistant Treasurer Job Description
As Assistant Treasurer, you'll be responsible for a broad range of treasury and financing activities.
* Manage day-to-day banking relationships, account openings, and KYC exercises
* Lead cash pooling and streamline bank account structures
* Ensure strong controls around bank payments and straight-through processing
* Deliver accurate cash reporting and forecasting (short & long term)
* Oversee bank reconciliations and working capital facility management
* Debt Management
* Monitor covenant compliance and update financial models
* Prepare and coordinate waiver requests
* Update forecasts for funding cash flows
* Track interest rates and benchmark transactions
* Support the Project Finance Associate
* Oversee trade facilities (LCs), guarantees, inter-company financing and dividends
* Coordinate quarterly financial risk reviews
* Manage exposures and hedging across interest rates, FX, and inflation
* Support hedge accounting activities
Requirements
Strong academic background, with a degree in a technical discipline
* ACT, ACA or CFA qualified would be an advantage
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience
* Skilled stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills
