Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and assist on current and upcoming projects in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have experience working across various projects including residential, commercial, data centres, education and healthcare.
The Role:
* Liaise with customers and project managers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
* Manage commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with customers, consultants and subcontractors to drive successful project outcomes.
* Review and validate project costs to ensure correctness, and resolve any queries or discrepancies that may arise.
* Attend pre-contract meetings and liaise with a wide range of construction professionals to facilitate timely completion of agreed actions.
* Produce and maintain up-to-date procurement schedules to support informed decision-making.
* Analyse subcontractor quotations and make recommendations for placement of orders, ensuring value for money.
* Compile and issue invitations to tender, and evaluate responses to select the best candidates for the job.
* Visit site to measure and value works completed, providing accurate assessments and reports.
* Assess subcontractor payment entitlement and process payments promptly and efficiently.
* Reconcile cost and value to date/forecast to provide real-time insights into project performance, enabling proactive management decisions.
