Position Description: This role presents an excellent opportunity for an individual who is forward-thinking and eager to be part of a growing company. The main objective in this opportunity as General Manager is to lead, manage, coordinate day to day operations and team (spanning Sales, Customer Service, Design & Production) increase/develop sales and profitability (P&L Management) for the Snap IFSC business (and other acquired businesses in due course). It is the General Managers responsibility to ensure targets are met, protect existing business and develop new business. The General Manager is responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals / developing and managing budgets, managing/retaining a portfolio of existing business along with seeking out/developing new opportunities (within existing customers and most importantly new customers). The General Manager will lead from the front and take responsibility for the successful and timely execution of all requirements needed to provide the highest level of service to our customers and in parallel execute business objectives, operational efficiency, reduce costs and drive sales growth. Key Responsibilities: Drive Sales/Sales Growth and Ebitda/Ebitda growth with best endeavours and at a professional level. Support sales teams and Account Managers in retention of existing clients. Drive consistent weekly customer meetings (a Calendar invite with agenda sent directly to the customer in advance). All meeting notes and opportunities identified to be updated in the CRM end of each day, which should include a brief summary note, actions and timeline to convert opportunity. Create and implement strategies for business growth (examples: expand the business through a new/bigger premises, acquisition opportunity, new product introduced or a proposal which has some out of box thinking, which can support growth. Responsible for improving efficiency and increasing profits while managing the company's overall operations. Improve internal processes for better productivity. Analyse accounting and financial data when monthly reports are furnished. Develop key performance goals and manage staff performance, retain and develop existing staff (PDPs). Determine staffing requirements and ensure that company positions are filled promptly. Drive long term growth by building relationships with key customers. Ensure quick turnaround time (and high conversion) of daily quote requests into the team. Maintain gross margins in line with business guidelines (team to providejustification to you where margin is below target, before proceeding). Identify and manage leads from multiple sources. Manage and drive all sales related activities including relationship call activity, customer visit activity, Pipeline and lost business using the CRM system. Maintain accurate and current customer data on the CRM. Where existing business, opportunities/quotes are at threat of loss put preventative actions in place early, where possible. Understand customer needs and advise of other products and services which could suit their current or future needs. Promote a high performing culture with drive for execution. Encourage a positive working environment and promote open communication and engagement. Address any customer issues in a timely and professional manner (all customers issues to be logged on our CRM system once identified and updated until closed). Request feedback, testimonials, and positive on-line reviews from customers. Submit required reports in a timely manner e.g., Month-end Reports, Monthly Management Presentation and Expenses. Manage Invoicing and general Banking Administration, along with ensuring debtors and creditors operate at the right levels each month. Manage procurement and purchasing in line with Company procedures. At all times promote a good image of the Company. Ensure the business is ISO compliant and all Working Time Obligations (WTO) are at the levels required. Perform other tasks as required: Handle additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director. Key Requirements: Strong relationship building and people management skills is a must: Ability to establish rapport with clients and motivate team members, at a high level. Ability to drive sales performance (Sales Management & Leadership) and sales activity and manage a sales pipeline is also a must: Proven track record of managing sales team, CRM management, meeting sales targets and closing deals (this is a key part of the role, due to the very positive impact it has on the business and the P&L). Proficiency in business management systems and CRMs: Familiarity with software tools for data management and analysis. Commercial acumen (experience of managing a P&L will be a great benefit) and negotiation skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing agreements. Excellent communication and presentation skills: Clear and concise communication both verbally and in writing. Strong understanding of quality standards and processes: Knowledge of industry standards and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel: Comfortable using spreadsheet software for data analysis. Experience in the Print industry is desirable but not essential: Previous experience in a related field is preferred. Clean driving license: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
