Red Chair Recruitment is currently hiring a B2B Field Sales Representative to cover the West of Ireland on behalf of a Dublin-based supplier of hardware tools, equipment, and industrial products. This role focuses on driving sales growth across the West of Ireland by promoting a premium product range to independent hardware stores as well as trade and industrial end users, including contractors, engineering firms, and workshops. The position is fully field-based and suited to someone who excels at developing long-term customer partnerships and delivering high service standards.
Main Duties
Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities
Produce quotations and manage price discussions
Target and secure new B2B hardware and trade customers
Build and maintain lasting relationships with retailers and trade buyers
Deliver on regional sales objectives through structured territory planning
Expand and retain existing customer accounts
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations
Maintain consistent call coverage within the assigned region
Support strong in-store merchandising and product placement
Provide technical guidance and after-sales assistance
Coordinate with internal departments on orders and logistics
Keep CRM data and sales activity reports current
Monitor competitor activity and report market feedback
Represent the company at trade exhibitions and client events
Resolve customer queries quickly and professionally
Candidate Profile
Proven B2B field sales background in hardware, construction, or engineering markets
Experience managing pipelines, forecasts, and CRM tools
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Proactive, solution-focused approach to customer needs
Self-driven with the ability to work independently and with internal teams
