Medical Advisor Role
This exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Medical Advisor to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. As a key member of the Medical Affairs department, you will be responsible for delivering medical education and engaging in scientific dialogue in the areas of diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular health.
About the Position:
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement effective strategies for medical education and engagement with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs). You will ensure that HCPs and KOLs are aware of and understand the scientific basis for and clinical efficacy and safety of our medicines.
Main Responsibilities:
* Engagement with HCPs: Develop and maintain high-quality scientific and clinical exchanges with HCPs to ensure they have access to accurate and up-to-date information about our products.
* Relationship Building: Establish relationships with HCPs and relevant institutions to meet their medical education knowledge requests.
* KOL Engagement: Manage and implement an Irish KOL engagement plan to support medical education and research activities.
* Product Support: Provide medical-marketing support for product campaign development and implementation, as well as medical-market access collaboration to support patient access to medicines.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* MBChB (or equivalent), MSc or PhD in a relevant discipline: Scientist, Pharmacist, or Medical Doctor by training.
* Post-Registration Experience: Demonstrated experience working in a medical affairs role, preferably in a similar industry sector.
* Knowledge of the Irish Healthcare System: A strong understanding of the Irish healthcare landscape and its challenges.
* Therapy Area Knowledge: Relevant expertise in the areas of obesity, diabetes, and cardiometabolic diseases would be beneficial.
