We are now recruiting for a
Security Operative
to join our Nights team.
Primary function of the role is prevention of anything that is likely to cause loss, waste, damage or inconvenience to the Company, our team members and guests.
Security Operative (Night shift)
Department: Security
Reporting to: Loss Prevention Manager
Location: Adare Manor, Adare, Co.
Limerick
Overview
: Responsible for the prevention of anything that is likely to cause loss, waste, damage or inconvenience to the company, its staff or its guests.
Operational responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and prevent signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other security systems.
Control access to buildings and facilities.
Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
Write accurate and detailed incident and shift reports.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and authoritative presence.
Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security and safety.

To adhere to the operational standards (SOPs) in place and ensure that we implement these consistently.
To provide our Guests with the highest levels of individual care, consideration, courtesy and professional service standards at all times.
To be professional and ensure that you keep up to date with changes within the company, e.g. facilities, services being offered as well as with new trends, systems within your job role.
To work closely with the leadership team, supporting them to ensure that strategic and departmental goals are achieved.
To carry out hands-on training with current team members in order to grow skills and achieve the standards defined.
Occasional responsibilities
To work in other locations or departments on a temporary basis as designated when required so to do.
To be available to work nights, evenings, weekends on occasion when required to ensure Resort standards/requirements are met.
To carry out any other reasonable task requested by a member of the leadership team.
Key performance indicators
Demonstrates professionalism and competency abilities in terms of operational/technical skills; consistently carries out tasks to the required standard.
Demonstrates good hotel & product knowledge across all departments and not just in own department; is a 'knowledge ambassador' for the Resort.
Demonstrates the ability to accept ownership and follow through to completion/resolution any tasks, requests or problems.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with guests and fellow team members.
Demonstrates respect, courtesy, patience and understanding of differing cultures, personalities and situations.
Demonstrates excellent punctuality and attendance records and reliability to be at work.
Demonstrates enthusiasm, passion and interest in their work.
Because of the changing nature of our business you may be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by the leadership team.
