A critical role within an organisation, the Health and Safety Specialist will oversee the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Main responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing comprehensive HSE plans
* Providing expert guidance on health and safety matters
* Facilitating effective collaboration with stakeholders
* Promoting a positive health and safety culture
* Designing and delivering comprehensive HSE training programs
* Investigating incidents and analyzing data
* Conducting risk assessments and audits
* Maintaining emergency preparedness and compliance
Key qualifications and skills required for this position are:
* A degree in Health & Safety or a related field
* At least 2-3 years of experience in on-site safety
* Risk assessment and familiarity with Irish/EU health and safety regulations
* Proficiency as an auditor and trainer
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
