By automating processes wherever possible, we ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and reliable information to our clients.Role OverviewReporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Technician will play a key role in delivering accounting and financial reporting services to clients in Ireland, Europe and UK.The successful candidate will have strong technical accounting experience and will be comfortable working across multiple clients, systems, and industries. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and preparing some accounts to review stage.Key ResponsibilitiesManage accounts payable functions for multiple clientsProcessing sales orders including liaising with customers and the warehouse team to coordinate fulfilment and address any issues that may ariseManage bank reconciliations and supplier payments across multiple client accountsPreparation and filing of VAT returnsPosting and reviewing journals and adjustmentsAssisting in the preparation of management accounts where requiredReview and completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliationsWorking with multiple accounting software packagesSupporting month-end and year-end processesLiaising with the Accounting Manager and other team members regarding client deliverablesMaintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines across a portfolio of clientsAd-hoc duties as requiredCandidate RequirementsQualified Accounting Technician with 5+ years’ experience in a similar roleStrong experience with:Sales order processingBank reconciliationsVAT return preparationJournal postingsPreparing accounts to review stageExperience working with multiple accounting software packagesHighly organised with excellent attention to detailAbility to manage work across multiple clients simultaneouslyExperience in an accounting practice or outsourced accounting environmentExperience working with international clientsWorking ArrangementHybrid working arrangement with a base in the Limerick officeCollaborative team environment within a growing outsourced accounting firmIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Technician who enjoys working in a dynamic environment supporting multiple businesses.
