Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate professional to join our team in Buree, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Our client provides exceptional care through day services, residential services, respite care, and home support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the service users' needs are being met, teaching them necessary daily living and social skills, establishing and maintaining positive relationships, and engaging in activities and completing household tasks.
In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team, supervising service users and staff in a residential setting.
Your excellent organisation and communication skills will enable you to effectively manage your time and priorities, while your full manual driving license will allow you to transport service users when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or relevant qualification
* Eligibility for CORU registration or existing registration
* Experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities
* Ability to work on own initiative and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting
* Good organisation and communications skills
* Full manual driving license
