Role Overview
The Physiotherapy Assistant will support the Physiotherapist in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and care services to residents in Leopardstown Care Centre, Leopardstown, Co. Dublin. This includes assisting with therapy sessions, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring compliance with prescribed treatment plans. This is a permanent role for 39 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist the Physiotherapist in planning and implementing treatment programs.
* Prepare treatment areas and equipment.
* Support residents during therapy sessions.
* Maintain accurate records of therapy progress.
* Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team regarding resident care.
Qualifications and Skills Required
* Minimum QQI Level 5 in a related field.
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
