Our client, a non-profit representative body for the thriving Irish digital commerce industry, is actively seeking a passionate Community Relations Executive. They provide training, events, networking, advisory, insights, advocacy, and public policy influence to over 8000 businesses.
As a Community Relations Executive, you'll have the exciting opportunity to shape their community engagement strategy. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day interaction with valued members and partners, identifying and reaching out to new connections, developing captivating social media and communication campaigns aligned with their broader PR and marketing strategies, and creating compelling content across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
As a Community Relations Executive, some of your duties will include:
1. Day to day interface with members and partners
2. Identifying new members and partners and conducting outreach to them
3. Developing social media and communication campaigns that align with the organisation's broader PR and marketing strategies
4. Creating engaging content, including text, images and videos, across various social media platforms
5. Responding to members and partners comments and queries in a timely and professional manner
6. Working closely together with Marketing, Branding, Public Relations and Communications Specialists to ensure consistency
7. Staying up to date with digital technology and e-commerce trends
8. Preparing detailed weekly and monthly reports on general activity of the organisation
9. Engage with the broader team to ensure delivery of organisations objectives
10. Coordinate, and attend community events and conduct periodic meetings with internal and external stakeholders
11. Participation at external committees including government and EU committees
Qualifications:
12. Confident individual with excellent organisational skills
13. Ability to monitor and facilitate communication across multiple segments (members, partners, etc)
14. A working understanding of business operations and processes
15. A willingness to remain up-to-date regarding the latest industry developments
16. Solid computer skills, including knowledge of relevant software programs and tools, such as analytics tools and Canva
17. Solid knowledge of social media platforms and social media management tools
18. Excellent grammar and spelling skills and the ability to create dynamic, engaging content
19. A track record of launching successful community initiatives
