Accounts Receivable Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client’s growing finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end receivables, ensuring timely collections, accurate posting of transactions, and supporting the treasury function through cashflow and banking administration. This role is well suited to someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in a busy finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts Receivable: Manage the full accounts receivable cycle from invoice generation to collection.
* Monitor customer accounts, ensuring timely payment and resolution of overdue balances.
* Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
* Liaise with customers and internal teams to handle billing queries efficiently.
* Prepare regular debtor reports and ageing analysis for management.
* Support daily cash management, including monitoring bank balances and transactions.
* Prepare and process payments in line with treasury schedules.
* Assist with short-term cashflow forecasting and reporting.
* Maintain accurate records of bank reconciliations and treasury transactions.
* Support the Finance Manager/Controller in optimising working capital and liquidity management.
* General Finance Support: Assist with month-end close by providing AR and cashflow reports.
* Contribute to internal and external audit preparation as required.
* Identify opportunities to streamline AR and treasury processes.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, controls, and accounting standards.
Requirements
* 2–3 years’ experience in an accounts receivable, credit control, or treasury-related role.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of treasury processes and banking systems is desirable.
* All applicants must hold a Stamp 4 visa or EU passport.
